In November last year, the driver who caused the accident that killed a father and his 15-year-old son near Agsu was convicted.
Qafqazinfo reports that Hasan Hasanli, a resident of the Padar village in the region, born in 1999, was found guilty under Article 263.3 of the Criminal Code (committing a road accident resulting in the death of two or more persons).
He was sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Sheki Serious Crimes Court. It is stated that the sentence will be served in a police station-type institution. After serving this sentence, H. Hasanli was banned from driving a vehicle for three years.
It should be noted that at the time of the incident the Mercedes-Benz car driven by H. Hasanli overturned. As a result, Amir Agakhan oglu Khangeldiyev, born in 1974, and Masud Amir oglu Khangeldiyev, born in 2008, from the village of Jalayir, Agsu region, were killed and the driver was injured.
The deceased father and son got into H. Hasanli’s car on the highway and headed to Shamakhi to prepare a document.
