SEPAH (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) used children in military exercises in Tehran.
According to the “Telegram” channel “Azad Iran”, the human rights organization in Iran – HRANA reported on this.
According to the information, SEPAH carried out training in Chitgar Park, northwest of Tehran, on the occasion of the commemoration week of the Iran-Iraq war. It was reported that in the images shared of the military training, the minors were carrying military weapons in their hands.
The organization issued a statement and highlighted that the Iranian government flagrantly violates children’s rights and takes advantage of people under 15 years of age.
It was observed that the Iranian authorities ignore some of the obligations in Iran, such as child labor, punishment and execution, and underage marriage.
