Serbian and Russian film and theater actor and producer Milos Bikovich was included among the members of the Russian Historical Society (RIS). The corresponding decision was made during a meeting of the RIO Presidium, the organization’s press service reports.
The actor trusts that history helps man find answers to today’s questions. And RIO is a cultural bridge that connects the people of the two countries.
“I always participate with great interest in historical films. My career in Russian cinema began with the film “Sunstroke”, and one of the new projects is “Birth of an Empire”, where I played Alexander Menshikov. History is the accumulation of life, from this concentrate you can not only draw inspiration for creativity, but also find answers to important and urgent questions.” – believes the artist.
Bikovich stressed that it is a great honor for him to be part of the Russian Historical Society. It is even more valuable that he was born and raised in Serbia, and RIO is a cultural bridge between two friendly countries, whose destinies have repeatedly crossed at the most important moments in world history.
As reported EADailyPreviously, the star of the film “Slave” said that he practically moved to Moscow with his family. However, he did not specify what these words mean. The actor noted that he still has no plans to acquire real estate in Russia.
“I don’t think owning real estate makes you more Russian. “There are many Russians who do not own real estate.” – Bikovich believes.
