“The mutual support of Azerbaijan and Serbia for each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty demonstrates both the development of relations and compliance with international law.”
Oku.Az Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric said this at a press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
The minister added that the political situation in the Balkans is difficult and Serbia is trying to preserve its independence, economic development and stability:
“Unfortunately, despite everything, wars have a negative impact on the stability of the Balkan countries. We respect the norms and principles of international law and evaluate the processes in this direction. I received information from the minister about how Azerbaijanis suffered from such processes in the past.”
