An air defence system was activated over Belgorod and the Belgorod region; several air targets were shot down as they approached the city. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
“In the city of Belgorod, shrapnel pierced the roof of an office building. In addition, the glass of an apartment building was damaged and two cars were hit by shrapnel. Services are already dealing with the consequences. No significant damage was detected.” – Gladkov clarified.
A fire also broke out in dry grass in the city; the Ministry of Emergency Situations is extinguishing the blaze.
