Russian air defense forces eliminated unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Novgorod region. This was announced by the governor of the region, Andrei Nikitin, on November 20.
“Over the Novgorod region, the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation discovered and destroyed several unmanned aerial vehicles.” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Nikitin also noted that there were no casualties.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces destroyed 42 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over Russian regions. The drones were shot down over the territories of Bryansk, Smolensk, Moscow, Kursk, Orel and Rostov regions between 9:00 p.m. and 11:55 p.m. on November 19, Moscow time.
