A landslide occurred in Shamakhi.
As a result of the latest landslide, which occurred on the sixth kilometer of the Shamakhi-Gizmeydan highway, large pieces of stone broke away from the rock and fell to the side of the road.
The landslide also caused severe damage to the asphalt pavement.
According to drivers, pieces of rock scattered on the side of the road are hampering traffic:
“People driving on the mentioned road for the first time, who are not familiar with the road, may lose control when encountering obstacles here. I would suggest that drivers coming and going here always be careful.”
In this regard, the special road operation area No. 19 reported that due to the recent heavy rains, many complications arose on the roads, which is why landslides were recorded in some places:
“We have carried out a lot of work within the framework of our administration. A major road repair is planned.”
