Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara announced on Thursday that Syria was “not accepting retail trade” during the ceremony at which the authorities revealed a new symbol of the republic, a three -star golden punishment, after about seven months of arrival in the authorities after the overthrow of Bashar al -Assad.

The bird of punishment, which since 1945 has adopted a symbol of the Syrian Republic, that is, before the start of the board of the party of fifty years, is the basis for a new symbol with adjustment to it.

The participants chanted: “Raise your head over you, you are free Syrian” and “one, and one of the Syrians alone,” while they raised Syrian flags.
From the stage, 57 -year -old Gassan Caliph from the inhabitants of Damascus said that the new slogan represents “Syria, glory and glory for him that provide human dignity,” adding: “The worthy has previously disappeared, and now the dignity has returned to people.”
The ceremony included a show of soldiers on an unknown square, for young people who controlled the horses of the flags on which a new symbol was installed, while others raised a new Syrian flag in three of its green, black -white colors and in the middle of three red stars.
“As if we had entered a new life and a new spirit, as if a dream was achieved for every Syrians,” said Nasser Abu Rashid, a resident of Damascus, and came to celebrate with his wife.
According to official media, other major cities of the country’s governors, especially the city of Aleppo, the largest city in the north, became witnesses of similar festive assemblies.
Since his arrival, after the overthrown President Bashar Assad was overthrown on December 8 (December 2024), Sharian announced a series of steps to manage the transition phase, which included a direct decision for the meeting of the former people, and then signed a constitutional statement, which determined the transition phase for five years, as well as the formation of a transition government.
