Sharp is developing an electric van with a large TV

Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp is developing its own electric minivan with Taiwanese tech giant Foxconn.

Oku.Az auto.ru reported about this.

The “Sharp LDK+” concept has so far only been presented in computer renderings. Its distinctive features include an unusual design and a living room-style interior with a 65-inch TV screen.

The concept of the passenger cabin is only slightly different from the living room. Sofas are installed here that rotate 180 degrees. The living room also has a folding table and a large screen.

The car is reportedly equipped with artificial intelligence that automatically adapts the microclimate and lighting to the preferences of passengers. The side windows have a variable degree of light transmission. Energy recharging can be done both via the charging station and via solar panels on the roof.

There is no word yet on the specifications of the “Sharp LDK+.” The project is in its early stages. The concept will be shown to the public at the “Sharp Tech-Day” exhibition in Tokyo a week later.
