The National Police of Zamora intervened in a fight in a nightclub in the city.
This happened last Sunday, when two women got into a heated argument in the room they shared, apparently over financial debt issues.
During the argument, one of the women began breaking her colleague’s belongings, including her cell phone, which she forcefully threw to the ground.
In addition, he assaulted her by punching her in the face and chest, and he even hit her violently on the nose with a hairdryer.
As soon as they became aware of what was happening, the victim was helped by the rest of his companions, who found him with serious facial bleeding resulting from the injuries caused by the attacker.
However, at that time, no one alerted the health services or the police.
However, later the woman victim of the attack went to the Zamora Police Station, from where she was transferred by a police team to the Virgen de la Concha Hospital, where she was operated on for a fracture of the nasal bones.
For all these reasons, the victim filed the corresponding complaint with the Police, which, for the moment, has been transmitted to the Judicial Authority, in order to continue efforts to fully clarify the facts.
On the other hand, the agents took advantage of the event to carry out an inspection at the club, with the aim of verifying whether the club had victims of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
During this search, the police also questioned the women of the club, most of them of Latin American origin and from other countries outside the European Union, who were in the room.
The agents’ intention was to detect whether they had been deceived about their work, living conditions, papers, etc. ; Because in most cases they feel threatened and therefore do not report their irregular situation to the police.
And they managed to discover that four women had not regularized their legal situation in Spain, which is why the agents of the Immigration and Borders Brigade began the procedures established by the regulations in force.
