The Israeli newspaper Haarets said that they knew that the department of the military prosecutor demanded that the highest military command begin an investigation of alleged war crimes in assistance centers.
In the report, the soldiers described how they fired a crowd of help looking for help not to approach or dissolve them, instead of using actions to control the mass that were not fatal.
“This field is a massacre … In my place, from one to five people are killed every day,” said the Israeli soldier.
“They shot at them, as if they were attacking forces: they did not use the rush control devices, they did not shoot tear gas, they shot, what you might think about, heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars,” the Israeli army said.
