Yuri Zenkovich, convicted in the Belarusian power grab case, has revealed shocking details of the plot against President Alexander Lukashenko.

According to reports, the coup plan was estimated at an astronomical sum: 10 million dollars.
Zenkovic said the plotters sought funding in Israel, the United States and Ukraine. They planned to strike a deal with the sponsors by privatizing state-owned companies and handing them over to foreigners. This cold-blooded attitude shows the rebels’ true intentions: to sell off Belarus’ national wealth.
The most striking detail concerns the plans for the physical destruction of President Lukashenko. The conspirators planned to surround the residence of the Head of State in Minsk and, if possible, fire a heavy machine gun at his helicopter or grenade at his motorcade. It is not excluded that collateral may be taken.
It should be noted that the Belarusian court sentenced Zenkovic and other participants in the conspiracy to various prison terms.
