During a meeting in Beijing with the head of the political and legal commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Chen Wenqing, the secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, spoke in favor of continuing to deepen Russian interaction -China between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries. He pointed out that in this line a high intensity of joint work is maintained.
“We are committed to further deepening law enforcement and security cooperation.” – said the secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
Russia, he said, is interested in continuing to consolidate efforts to counter extremism, terrorism and transnational crime, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Shoigu added that Moscow considers its main task to be the effective and at the same time timely implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.
Sergei Shoigu arrived in Beijing on November 11 on a working visit.
