Residents of Shusha, who celebrated Victory Day in their homeland, spoke to Baku TV.
Jahid Alakbarov, a veteran of the First Karabakh War, residing in Shusha, said that he is happy to live in his homeland with his family:
“We longed for 30 years. We left our lands when we were young. We returned when we grew old. Although we just moved to Shusha, I have been here since our lands were liberated.”
Vasila Alakbarova, a resident of Shusha, also said that she is proud to be on her land.
“We owe everything to our martyrs. There are children of martyrs who have never seen their father, but only know him from his grave. I bow before those children.”
