Singer Katya Lel has withdrawn her lawsuit against journalist, television presenter and blogger Otar Kushanashvili for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation. This is demonstrated by the file published on the portal of the Tushinsky Court in Moscow.
In the statement, the singer indicated that Kushanashvili’s words in the video posted on the video hosting YouTube damage her reputation and create a negative image as a public figure.
He asked to delete the video, refute the words spoken in it and compensate for moral damage.
The case was dismissed on October 14, citing “the plaintiff’s abandonment of the claim” as the reason.
Let us remember that Lel went to court in March of this year. According to the Shot telegram channel, he demanded compensation of 6.5 million rubles. Kashanashvili was later diagnosed with a malignant tumor.
On September 20 of this year, the showman congratulated the singer on her 50th birthday, promising to stop joking about the issues “that Lel lives.” He posted congratulations on his Telegram channel and later withdrew the lawsuit.
