Slovakia will import gas from Azerbaijan in December.

The Slovak company SPP, the largest operator of the republic’s national gas energy system, has signed a short-term test contract for the supply of gas from Azerbaijan, fearing the suspension of transit from the territory of Ukraine. On the Azerbaijani side, the associated state company is SOCAR.
The contract is for one month. If cooperation between Slovak and Azerbaijani companies is successful, this period may be extended.
It should be noted that SPP currently has pilot contracts for the supply of gas to Slovakia with BP, ExxonMobil, Shell, Eni and RWE.
