Fight at Lavapiés
In recent hours, there have also been violent fighting in Nelson Mandela Square, in Lavapies. A young man was arrested after hitting another in the face with a bottle, according to sources from the National Police in Madrid.
The events occurred around 4:20 a.m. this Wednesday. As the aforementioned sources report, agents were alerted because a man threatened another in the middle of the street. When police arrived, they found a young man bleeding and, next to him, a man being held by pedestrians who had a broken bottle in his hand.

When the attacker was arrested, he began to have a violent attitude towards officers. Madrid emergency sources report that the victim presented bruises and a facial injury, but was transferred in light condition.
