The conversation between the leaders of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, is not even being prepared yet. But if necessary, it can be organized quickly, said the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, in an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
“We will see how the situation evolves in this regard. Some contacts can be expected to occur. It is impossible to guess when this will happen.” – noted the Kremlin representative.
To the question of whether organizational preparations are being made for the conversation, he answered in the negative, whether there are at least “clues, signs.”
“No, not yet,” Peskov explained.
He added: “But if necessary, all this can be organized very quickly. Therefore there are no problems. And I think that as soon as this need arises and both sides understand the need for such communication, it will take place,” TASS reports.
