The information about the presence of a “strange object” – a mine – on the beach in Sochi has not been confirmed, the city authorities said.
“No similar incidents have been identified in the territory of Sochi,” – said the Sochi administration.
A video of beach vacationers removing a landmine appeared on social media earlier. The footage shows several men rolling a round spiked object onto the beach while other beachgoers watch. It was claimed that this happened on the beach in Sochi.
