Social Security launches a new website to facilitate information and procedures on pensions

Social Security has launched a new website that integrates all electronic access channels to pension and benefits procedures, information and services. This new tool will allow you to request pensions and social benefits, access retirement and IMV simulators and see the status of requests.

As reported by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, citizens can apply for benefits on this website, access pension and minimum subsistence income (IMV) simulators, check the status of their applications , manage their appointments and communicate or make changes to your personal data, among other things, “quickly and intuitively”.

The Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions, Borja Suárez, stressed that this initiative “is another step in the strategy aimed at putting the citizen at the centerbring our services closer together, making them more accessible and easier, both in terms of their location and their use.

“The language we speak in this new portal is that of citizens, not that of the Administration. A paradigm shift that we have already seen is giving very good results. The new Importass application, which we presented a few years ago weeks, has already accumulated more than 230,000 downloads,” Suárez said.

The Secretary of State emphasized that many citizens prefer to use electronic services when they are easy to use and, in addition, allow the quality of service to be increased. attention through traditional channels for those who, for whatever reason, cannot use digital procedures.

Portal Services

According to the ministry, the new portal offers a search engine for services and procedures, as well as direct access to the most consulted and requested, “organized in a very visual way, with a clear structure and direct language.” In addition, it is designed to adapt perfectly to the device from which it is accessed, whether from a computer or a mobile device.

Social Security has highlighted that navigation in these services is simpler and more intuitive, guiding the user through a question and answer system that accompanies them to the appropriate electronic service.

These intelligent questionnaires, which aim to guide the user in a personalized way and request only the necessary information, have already been used, for example, in the IMV application process, “giving excellent results”, emphasizes the department led by Elma. Saiz.

To improve the citizen experience, informative content and guides are offered which help users better understand the different types of services and the conditions for accessing them, while avoiding unnecessary procedures.

Another important new feature, explains the ministry, is that this new interface makes it possible to save the results of queries carried out and to retain the information obtained for easier future access.
