TAZ: Mr. -N Cemper, on Friday Bundestag chose three new judges to the Federal Constitutional Court. The union resists the candidate Frauke Brozius-Hersdorf proposed by SPD-h?
Andreas Kemper: Frack Brozius-Hersdorf was a member of the commission, who recommended the legalization of abortion in the last legislative period. The conservative party, as a union, does not like it. First of all, anti -feministic lobbying groups do not like, which, in turn, has a great influence on the fraction of the Union.
TAZ: What lobbying groups do you mean?
Camper: There are various, closely related subjects of organized movement “Life” with very good contacts with the fraction of the Union. For example, there are “Christian democrats for life” (CDL), who asked the trade union in early July not to support the candidacy of Ms. Brozius-Hersdorf.
TAZ: Who is behind this group?
Camper: The organization was founded after reunification when it came to the unification of the right to abortion from FRG and GDR for the common law. At that time, she successfully helped liberal regulation. With the mood of the mood since the beginning of July, “Foundation Yes, to Life”, “The Federal Association of Lebensrecht”, was “the action of life rights for all”-all the groups from the movement against the choice.
TAZ: How are they connected?
Camper: These participants are closely connected in close exchange, as well as in terms of staff. And there is a lot of money behind this: back in 2017, the annual advancement of the YES Foundation for Life on Life Protection exceeded a million. Various organizations of AFD Bundestag Beatrix von Storch and her husband Sven von Storch also belong to this scene. There are also international networks and cash flows, for example, from the USA and Russia. The nobleness of the nobility is also relevant here: Joanna von Westfalien founded CDL and the “Life” Foundation, whose cousin Elizabeth von Lunink fought for marriage for everyone whose daughter Hedwig von Beverfere, together with Beatrix von Storch, built “demo for all” and so.
TAZ: How do these groups actually do?
Camper: This is always the same template: organizations begin a call, in this case, in order to prevent the appeal of Ms. Brozis-Hersdorf. “Let’s prevent jurisprudence against life,” he will say in it. You will study the contact details of the decisive deputies in the election committee and provide an Excel file with names, phone numbers and email addresses with one click, you can contact people. Often there is even a prefabricated text, so for a very short time a very large number of similar or verbal emails are sent to deputies.

TAZ: The fact that people express their position, also elected by deputies, is legal.
Camper: However, this becomes a problem when democracy is undermined. We know from representative polls that 80 percent of the population for the law on liberal abortion. Even most Catholics sees this in this way. Nevertheless, these emails and campaigns will cause as a bomb, deputies can no longer use their mailboxes from the overflow.
TAZ: Why all this?
Camper: The action should look like a huge movement of the root of the grass. If you look closer, this is actually just an artificial lawn. But with this, with their connections with conservative parties, these organizations are extremely successful. They use their influence to make a policy that turns against the actual majority – and against the fundamental rights of minorities.
TAZ: How do you mean this?
Camper: The stand of this movement is the fight against abortion. Nevertheless, there are close contacts and many coincidences in those movements that were also mobilized against marriage for everyone or against the law on self -determination. What unites is persistence in the presumably natural order in which men and women unite children in a patriarchal society. It is no coincidence that this struggle exactly demonstrates the occupation of judges.
TAZ: Why not?
Camper: Until 2018, annual secret meetings of antifeminist organizations in various European cities under the name “Agenda of Europe”. These were network and strategic meetings of people who turn against emancipative and progressive policy and work on the rollback of sexual and reproductive rights. Central project: to take judges with their people, especially in the best dishes. We see the results in Poland, as well as in the USA. This clearly has a strategy.
TAZ: For what purpose?
Camper: These people know that they make politics against the majority. As I said, 80 percent in Germany want a liberal law on abortion. There is nothing to get for antifeminists at a democratic level. Thus, you must determine the policy from above, if you want to achieve anything: from dishes when the judges are there that prevent judgments and progress in your sense. That is why, in their opinion, it is so important to prevent liberal judges.
