Solventis takes third place ahead of Magallanes among the most active funds on the Spanish stock exchange

The fight for leadership of the most active funds on the Spanish stock market pits Okavango Delta and Fidelity Iberia, even if the latter, managed by Karoline Rosenberg, took a little more than a point ahead in the latest review of the League elEconomista.es.

But below them, other vehicles are also fighting to stay among the top five in terms of profitability. This is the case of Solventis Aura Iberian Equity, Magallanes Iberian Equity and SWM España Gestión Activa, which achieved returns of between 16.62% for the first and 15.40% for the second. Since last week, the Solventis fund, managed by Jordi Sebastiá, has regained third place in the ranking, continually disputed with Iván Martín’s fund.

Solventis’ main bets include, according to Morningstar portfolio data, Iberdrola, Inditex, Amadeus, Portuguese bank BCP, Fluidra, Cellnex, Bankinter, Catalana Occidente, Redeia and Viscofan.

Cobas Iberia, managed by Francisco García Paramés, is also accelerating, alongside Santalucía Ibérico Acciones, one of the classic Spanish stock exchange funds.

From the rest of values better known, Horos Value Iberia is the one which bears the cost, with a return of less than 1%, better in any case than the drop of almost 4% accumulated by the Lardiés fund. Metavalor and Azvalor Iberia, with respective yields of 1.28% and 4.93%, gain a little more, although below the 7.31% obtained by EDM Inversion/Spanish Equity R and the 8.1% of Bestinver Bolsa.
