On the eve of the COP29 conference, great monitoring of traffic management continues on some streets and avenues in the capital in order to organize transportation processes continuously and safely during the dates of the event.
Oku.Az informs that the road traffic surveillance measures, which will last from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on November 3, will be carried out in accordance with the transportation plan and the route of the event as a whole, and the capital’s Heydar Aliyev, Istiglaliyet, Narimanov, Khatai, Tbilisi, Azadlig and Neftchilar will cover the streets Lermontov, Teymur Elchin, Niyazi, Nizami, Yusif Safarov, Mikayil Huseynov, Rashid Beyhbudov, Khagani Rustamov, Pushkin, Abdulla Shaik, Nizami, Izmir, Bakikhanov, as well as Mardakan, Zigh and Airport Roads. Drivers are requested to use alternative routes and public transport vehicles during the aforementioned period, taking into account traffic restrictions on these roads. During the monitoring process, which will be carried out by the Azerbaijan COP29 Operating Company, the Ministry of Interior and the Land Transport Agency of Azerbaijan, the routes and traffic plans planned within the framework of the COP29 conference will be tested.
It should be recalled that during the traffic monitoring that took place during the current month, COP29 buses and cars, firefighting and emergency medical vehicles, as well as hundreds of COP29 volunteers, were successfully tested for traffic. in various scenarios and directions.
