THE riot police of the The Netherlands arrested 57 club supporters last Thursday evening Ajax and of Maccabi Tel Aviv after the violent incidents occurring before and after the end of the match corresponding to the Europa League. In addition, 10 people were injured and two others are missing, according to Dutch and Israeli authorities.
The scale of the conflict was such that Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahuensured that two planes were sent to the Netherlands so that supporters of the Israeli team could return to their country as quickly as possible.
For his part, the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvirassured on social networks that Israeli officials were working with Dutch authorities to investigate attacks he said were politically and religiously motivated.

“Fans who went to see a football match faced anti-Semitism and were attacked with unimaginable cruelty simply because of their Judaism,” Itamar Ben-Gvir noted on social media.
The incidents
Clashes broke out overnight in the center of the Dutch city after a match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv which ended in a clear victory for the locals.
According to local media AT5The Dutch capital was the scene of numerous acts of vandalism and brawls that forced police to escort Israeli supporters to their hotels.
The fights took place in the middle of the street, with cars crossing the road and I witnessed, with other passers-by, very violent scenes. Chases, kicks, punches… Absolute chaos which required the rapid intervention of the police.
