The new train from Palma to Llucmajor announced by the President of the Government, Marga Prohens, has a budget of 690 million euros and work will begin in 2028 and end in 2032. It will have underground sections and the estimated time of Palma to Llucmajor It is 22 minutes.
President Prohens presented the project this Thursday. The main lines of the new railway lines will pass through the Son Gotleu district, the Escalas German swimming pools, the Son Llàtzer hospital, the Son Sant Joan airport and the Arenal. The Palma-airport journey is estimated at 11 minutes.
