The Councilor for Festivities, Customs and Traditions, Araceli Rodríguez, appeared this Tuesday to announce some details on the calendar of activities in which since Lucena Town Hall We work for the pleasure of children and adults during the Christmas.
“We will continue to promote the format launched last year and which gave such good results, distributing the leisure proposals in different places in the city and thus diversifying tourist, economic and commercial activity,” said Rodríguez .
The inauguration of Christmas in Lucena will take place on Thursday, December 5 with the premiere of a new sound and light show in Plaza Nuevawhich will be lit by more than 300,000 LED points, to which will be added nearly 200 arcs of light throughout the city. Furthermore, work is already underway to install the traditional crèche, again without live animals.
THE El Peso and San Pedro streetswith a large number of pedestrians and businesses, will once again play a leading role in Lucencia’s Christmas alongside the Rojas Walkwith a space intended mainly for children’s leisure to enjoy fairground attractions, food stands and the various workshops and activities developed by Lucencia companies, to which this year will be added as a novelty the celebration of a children’s party to celebrate the end of the relationship with the family of the year.
Thanks to the sponsorship of Tourist Office of the Provincial Delegation of Córdoba and the Subbética Rural Development Group, the programming this Christmas will include a wide variety of events, musical shows or dance activities so that “Lucena positions itself during these endearing meetings in the center of the region and in Andalusia, highlighting all the services and attractions that a city as hospitable as ours offers”, said Araceli Rodríguez.
