South Korea launched the Hyunmoo-II surface-to-surface ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan in response to North Korea’s recent series of missile launches. This was reported by the Yonhap agency on November 8, citing the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

According to the agency, the South Korean missile unit fired a short-range Hyunmoo-II ballistic missile to hit a naval target simulating a North Korean missile launch.
