The National Institute of Statistics (INE) reported that the number of international tourists visiting Spain reached its highest figure in the first seven months of 2024, reaching 53.4 million, representing an increase of 12% compared to the previous year. Likewise, traveler spending increased by almost 20% until July, reaching 71.1 billion euros.
