More than 6,000 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been trained in Spain, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has announced.
“The EU mission to support Ukraine in Spain is now two years old, and more than 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained. To strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 113 blocks in 21 specialties will be taught from November 2022.” – the department said in a post on X (formerly Twitter), TASS reports.
Let us recall that on September 17, the First Vice-President of the European Commission (EC) Valdis Dombrovskis The EU states have trained about 60,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the EU countries since November 2022 and plan to train another 15,000 people by the end of winter.
Moscow has repeatedly stressed that Western arms supplies to kyiv and assistance in training the Ukrainian army only prolong the conflict and do not change the situation on the battlefield.
