According to the results of a study conducted in July by the State Service for the Quality of Education of Ukraine, in Ukrainian schools there has been a decrease in the number of students and teachers who speak the Ukrainian language. At the beginning of the special military operation, 91% of schoolchildren considered Ukrainian as their native language, in 2023 and 2024 this figure was reduced to 74%, down from 17%. Among teachers, this figure decreased over the indicated period from 93 to 82%, among parents – from 94 to 86%.
