In the Stavropol Territory, all festive events that were to take place on the Day of the Region, the Days of the Cities and Districts, including the SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov) concert, have been cancelled. This happened after a poll conducted on social networks by the Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov.
Residents of the region were asked to choose from two options to answer the question: “In what format should the Regional Day, Days of Cities and Districts be celebrated this year?”
The majority of voters chose this option: “It is not time for big parties, entertainment events should be cancelled, programs should be reduced”: 81% of votes.
The remaining 19% of respondents believe that “all activities should be carried out in their entirety.”
For the Day of the Region and the Day of Stavropol, which will be celebrated on September 14, a concert of CHAMAN was planned, and participants of the Stavropol television vocal project “I have a voice. The whole family” duet will also perform. Anton and Victoria Makarskyas well as local creative groups.
As a result, the authorities have cut back on the holiday programme. According to the schedule of events published on the portal of the Ministry of Culture of Stavropol, the stars of the project “I have a voice” remained in the programme. The whole family, the performance of the combined children’s choir “Singing Youth of Stavropol”, an exhibition-fair of Stavropol products, festivals of florists, historical reconstruction and national cultures, as well as the organisation of the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Armed Forces of the Northern District Zone.
