The Municipal Sports Foundation and the neighborhood entities organize the Back to Little in the districts of Sant Marcel lí and Sant Isidre as part of the popular 2024 racing calendar and which will take place this Sunday, September 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The 5-kilometer route will start on the avenue Three Hollowsin front of the General Cemetery car park, in the direction of Sant Marcel·lí along Docteur Tomás Sala and San Vicent Mártir until Arquebisbe Olaechea street.
Participants in this race will continue along Salvador Perlés Street to Pie IX Street, along the ramp that crosses the railway until reaching the roundabout next to the Municipal Morgue. Here again, the route will cross the railway tracks and access the extension of Pie IX Street towards the General Cemetery.
Once you reach the roundabout of Plaza Santo Domingo de Guzmán, continue along Tres Creus Avenue towards Sant Isidre (in the opposite direction to motorized traffic). Continue along Mariano de Cavia Street, Josep Melià and Castelló Square, Campos Crespo Street and Tres Creus Avenue until you reach the finish line in the General Cemetery car park. At the intersection of Doctor Tomas Sala and Saint Vincent MartyrVehicles will be able to exit via the bridge towards Malilla.
Streets closed
The consolidation of the departure and arrival area will involve traffic reductions from the 6:00 a.m. on Tres Creus Avenue (section between Campos Crespo and Gaspar Aguilar) towards Sant Vicent Mártir. The cut will continue, as expected, until 11:30 a.m.
No Parking
Parking will be prohibited throughout the entire interior of the parking lot. Municipal cemetery from Saturday 21 at 2:00 p.m. to Sunday 22 at 2:00 p.m.
It is also prohibited in the streets Mariano de Cavia (between Tres Creus Avenue and Nicolau Primitiu Gómez Serrano), Nicolau Primitiu Gómez Serrano (between Mariano de Cavia and Campos Crespo), Campos Crespo (between Nicolau Primitiu Gómez Serrano and Tres Creus) and Salvador. Perlés (between Sant Vicent Mártir and Soria), from Saturday at 11:59 p.m. to Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
EMT lines diverted
EMT Valencia has designed a special device for the “Volta a Peu a Sant Marcel·lí i Sant Isidre” this Sunday. New routes have been planned for a total of 7 lines from 7:00 in the morning. EMT recommends lines 9, 10, 18, 27, 72, 73 and 99 to get as close as possible to the start and finish of the Volta.
