The highly anticipated Valencia Marathon race arrives in the Turia capital this Sunday, December 1, with its usual staggered start from the Plaza del Maratón with the Monteolivete bridge. Starting this Friday, November 29, different events will take place in the city. traffic cuts to prepare the test device.

As reported by the Traffic Management Center of Valencia City Hall, this Friday, November 29, from 10:00 p.m., road traffic will be closed in the Monteolivete Bridgein both directions, as well as the Professor López Piñero route towards the city center for the assembly of the exit arch.

Furthermore, the tracks of The Marist Brothers and the Workers’ Institute of Valencia, in both directions, will remain closed (the transversals will not be) from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Saturday, although entry and exit from the fords will be permitted. These roads will be closed to road traffic again from 10 p.m. Saturday and until 2 p.m. Sunday.

The same Saturday, the Alcalde Reig Court will be closed, between Puente del Reino and Avenida de la Plata towards the entrance to the city from 9:00 p.m. From 10:00 p.m., the same will be done at Professor López Piñero’s house, between Alcalde Reig and Ricardo Muñoz Suay.

As for the rest of the traffic cuts, those linked to the test circuit, access will be limited one hour before the race, scheduled for the first start which will begin at 8:15 a.m. For his part, the EMT has planned new routes on a total of 32 lines from this Friday until the end of the race to bring users as close as possible to their destination. On Sunday, lines C1, 19, 30, 31, 32, 40, 67, 70, 71, 73, C2, 81, 92, 93, 94, 95 and 98 are canceled.
