Strong earthquake recorded in Chile – Oxu.az

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Chile.

Oku.Az reports that the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre has published information on this matter.

The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be 35 kilometers northeast of the city of Coquimbo, home to some 161,000 people.

The center of the earthquake was located at a depth of 38 kilometers.

No casualties or damage were reported.
