“According to information from the National Hydrometeorology Service, during the next few days unstable weather conditions will be observed in the country’s territory starting in the second half of the day, strong winds will blow in some areas and intense rains will fall. In some rivers there will be Short-term flooding and flooding and lightning will occur.
In connection with the above, the Ministry of Emergency Situations appeals to the population and urges them to observe the relevant safety standards related to the expected weather conditions.
Therefore, during a strong wind, it is recommended to stay away from light constructions and temporary structures, buildings and billboards, do not stay under electric poles and cables, or tall trees. At the same time, taking into account the difficulties caused by strong winds when extinguishing fires, fire safety regulations must be strictly observed.
Likewise, to protect yourself from possible flooding and flooding due to heavy rainfall, you should stay away from flood-prone and dangerous areas. If you face this danger, immediately go to nearby heights, and follow the calls and recommendations of the rescue team. agencies.
Additionally, to protect yourself against the dangers of lightning, disconnect electrical appliances from the mains, do not talk on the telephone (landline, mobile, public telephone, etc.), do not approach power lines, lightning transmitters, lightning rods and antennas while outdoors, do not lean under tall trees, and to do this stay relatively low, it is recommended to choose a place, and if you are in a car, stop moving, raise the windows and wait for the rays to end.
