Macassar – A brutal attack occurred in a student dormitory on Jalan Adipur, Panakkukunk district, Macassar -City, South Sulawesi, on Thursday, July 4, 2025 at night. Dozens of unknown people (OTK) invaded a hostel with sharp weapons, stones and bombs of Molotov.
It is known that the perpetrators act with the help of a motorcycle and immediately lay the window in the hostel with stones and throw three Molotov bombs into the building. Fortunately, there were no fires in the incident, and there were no injuries or souls.
According to one of the residents of the hostel, Ikram, the attack continued suddenly when the students fell asleep.
“Friends do not know where the criminals came from. We never had problems outside, suddenly attacked, ”he said on Friday (5/7/2025).
Ikram added that the criminals abandoned the Molotov bomb, which exploded twice, broke the window panel, then entered the hostel area, rising to the fence. They even hit several doors of the room before, finally, they ran away after they were in place for about 10-15 minutes.
“We are grateful for the fact that no one was injured, because all the rooms are locked from the inside. Now the police report was made, and we believe that the police can investigate and arrest criminals, ”Ikram explained.
