“Such chaos has not happened since the Smolensk disaster!” — Polish politician on the flood

Deputy Chairman of the Sejm of the Polish Republic, Krzysztof Bosak, has sharply criticised the meeting of the crisis headquarters with the participation of Prime Minister Donald Tusk in connection with the large-scale flooding.

Opposition MP Bosak accused the Prime Minister of uncoordinated actions, information chaos and untimely decision-making.

“I confess that I have not seen such information chaos for a long time, perhaps since the Smolensk disaster (when in 2010, 96 Polish citizens, led by the President of Poland, died in a plane crash). Lech Kaczynski. — EADaily), the Vice-President of the Sejm said on Radio Zet. “I think that we are dealing with a lot of negligence.”

The vice president also said that once the flooding stops, a parliamentary commission of inquiry should be set up to investigate the actions and decisions of the Polish government.

“I think the government is a mess and the prime minister is now concentrating on creating a spectacle for the media. Because I see these meetings on air as a kind of performance, and not as real crisis management, because real crisis management does not happen with the camera on.” – says Krzysztof Bosak.

EADaily Remember that according to official data, at least 7 people died in Poland, however, on social networks, ordinary Poles write to the authorities to hide the real number of dead and missing. For example, in the town of Strone Śląsk alone, which was the first to suffer from the catastrophe, up to a hundred people are unofficially missing.
