There was a suicide attempt this morning.
Oku.Az reports that this was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
It was reported that a citizen attempted suicide in his apartment located on Ismayil Hidayatzade Street, Narimanov district, Baku city.
The citizen’s relatives reported this to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ hotline “112”.
Rescuers from the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs immediately rushed to the scene. During the assessment of the operational conditions by the rescuers, it was determined that a citizen born in 2000 had attempted suicide in his apartment.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the rescuers, the door of the apartment located on the first floor of a nine-story residential building was opened with the help of special tools, and the citizen who tried to commit suicide, causing himself various injuries, was rescued. He was found unconscious in the apartment and handed over to the emergency medical team.
