Supports food sovereignty, TNI Commander helps the farmer group in Deli Serdang
Deli Serdang – The commander of TNI, General AGUS Subyanto, was present at the RISE collection event on the Food Safety Earth Kodam I/Bukit Barisan, in the village of Sidoardgio Ramunia, the Beringin district, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.
In this case, General AGUS provided assistance to the farika Kodam I/BB farm group and other representatives of Farmers Group, which is 16 Poktan in the form of an agricultural mechanism (ALSINTAN), fertilizer and rice.
The TNI commander explained that the assistance provided in the form of 12 units of ALSINTAN consisted of 6 units of a hand tractor and 6 thumbnail units, 1800 kg of urea fertilizers, 1800 kg of NPK fertilizers and 120 kg of rice seeds.
“I hope that this assistance can increase agricultural productivity, especially rice on food land for Kodam I/BB in the village of Sidoardgio Ramunia,” said AGUS, Saturday (7/7/2025).
According to Agus, about 500 tons of rice was successfully raised from an area of 80 hectares of land planted by rice.
“We got this result from the green varieties of Ciherang, which are capable of producing from 6 to 7 tons per hectare,” he said.
