The judge of the Supreme Court Ángel Hurtado, instructor of the trial opened to the Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, for the alleged leak to the press of confidential data of the friend of the Madrid president Isabel Díaz Ayuso, rejected the request that the trial be temporarily suspended for the analysis of the elements of the intervention.
In a resolution known this Monday, Hurtado considers that there is no reason to paralyze the examination by the UCO of the enormous documentation seized from the Attorney General and Attorney General of Madrid, Pilar Rodríguez. The instructor authorized the agents to access all data on all devices of the two defendants between March 8 and the date of the search, which took place on October 30.
However, Hurtado limited the information to be analyzed a few days later to seven days, between March 8 and 14.
The instructor also rejected the request that the analysis focus on the period between 10 p.m. on March 13 and 10:20 a.m. on the 14th, when the media published the emails sent by the man’s defense.
