Localities like Chiva or València have decided to suspend classes in educational centers, in addition to canceling activities in centers for the elderly and have decreed mobility restrictions.

Chiva alludes in its announcement as reasons for the suspension of classes and sports activities from this Wednesday “and until further notice” to “the current state of the municipality” and in response to information provided by the municipal services. ’emergency.

In the case of València, the decision was adopted by Cecopal, the municipal operational center of coordination, and means the suspension of classes this Wednesday in the southern neighborhoods, among which are the affected ones of La Torre, Castellar-Oliveral or Forn d ‘ Alcedo, but also in the Maritime Villages.

Aldaia brings sandbags to its station

Faced with the flooding of the ravine, frequent in this municipality of Horta Sud de Valencia, Aldaia was protected by floodgates which are inserted into the streets, but which have today disappeared after the devastation of the last DANA.

Aldaia uses sandbags which, between Tuesday and Wednesday, will be placed near the ravine to “channel the water and prevent it from entering the urban area”, as detailed by the mayor, who approached this morning in the area to chat with the neighbors.
