The Swedish Minister of Gender Equality, Paulina Brandberg, has prohibited bringing… bananas to events in which she participates.
According to the Swedish tabloid Expressen, the minister suffers from “the strangest phobia in the world”: the fear of bananas. The publication quotes Brandberg’s assistant, who before the meeting with the Riksdag chairman said:
“There should be no traces of bananas in the areas where the minister will be present.”
