On Thursday, the Swiss Supreme Court ratified the condemnation of the well -known Islamist of Ramadan for rape and sexual coercion, issued by the regional court last year.

In September, the Geneva Court of Appeal issued a three -year prison sentence to the 63 -year -old Ramadan, of which two years were removed.

The regulations on Thursday annulled the acquittal of the lower court, which claimed the lack of significant evidence.
The justification of 2023 marked the first victory for the former Oxford academician, who fell into a disadvantage after accusations of rape and sexual violence in neighboring France in 2018.
Ramadan, who is a Swiss citizen, was charged with rape on two alleged attacks in France ten years ago.
He was imprisoned in February 2018 and released nine months later, waiting for the trial.
The third woman filed a rape against him in France in March 2023.
The scientist constantly denies that he committed a crime and submitted funds, saying that the claims were false.
