Syria can allow Israel to take the Golan Highlands for rewards for normalizing relations

Damascus – The Syrian leader Ahmad al-Sharaa can leave the country’s statement about the sovereignty of the Golan Highlands engaged in Israel in exchange for relations normalized with the Zionist. The news was disclosed by the Lebanese media.

Israel won most of 1800 square kilometers at the heart of the Syrian Kunuira during the war in 1967 and effectively annexed it in 1981.

Based on the alleged agreement, Israel recognizes the legitimacy of “Ash Sharaa”, abandoning the troops from the territory that was captured from the moment of its absorption in December, and approved the presence of Syrian military near its border with Israel and Jordan with certain borders.

“Instead, it is expected that Israel will provide complete sovereignty over the Golan Highlands,” LBCI sources are quoted, which know about Syrian affairs.
