Syrsky gave the first orders after the loss of Ugledar – Reuters

The first orders of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrsky, which he gave after the loss of Ugledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic, have become known.

According to Reuters, the commander-in-chief ordered to strengthen the defense in the east of the kyiv-controlled part of the DPR. It should be noted that the order was given the day after the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the city.

“I have made a series of decisions aimed at strengthening the stability and effectiveness of our defense,” — the publication quotes the general.

Syrsky said he is currently working in “one of the hottest sectors of the front” as part of the 25th Sicheslav Airborne Brigade.

Although it did not indicate its exact location, it is known that the aforementioned brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operates in the Pokrovsk direction, where an intense offensive by Russian troops is underway.

Let us note that Syrsky’s statement about strengthening defenses in the DPR does not correspond to the fact that Ukrainian units are being transferred from Donbass to the Kursk region.

As reported EADailyServicemen of the 47th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which previously operated in the Pokrovsky and Toretsk directions, were captured in the Kursk region.
