“We want to remind the international community that peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait are linked to global peace and prosperity. “We also hope that the international community can condemn China for failing to announce its exercises in advance, violating international law and harming regional peace and stability.” — the newspaper quotes the words of a representative of the Taiwanese defense department.
According to him, the People’s Republic of China violated the spirit of the UN Charter, which prohibits the use of force to resolve disputes.
