Tajikistan believes it is necessary to expand cooperation between the CIS Interstate Council on Industrial Safety and the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), said Rahim Sanat, head of the State Service for Supervision of Safe Work in Industry and Mining of the Government of Tajikistan, at a meeting of the Interstate Council in Dushanbe, Sputnik reports.
According to him, this is a requirement of the current situation in the world, as well as a condition for the development of technology.
He noted that in this way, CIS countries will be able to solve security problems in the development of networks of charging stations for electric vehicles, which are becoming increasingly popular in the Commonwealth countries.
According to Sanat, cooperation with SCO countries would also be useful for the introduction of artificial intelligence into industrial safety monitoring systems and video surveillance systems.
The meeting was attended by delegations from relevant departments of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
