An early goal, in the 4th minute, from Nahuel helped Talavera beat Balompédica Conquense in an intense regional derby that led to 3,116 spectators at the El Prado municipal. The ceramic team temporarily advances to the promotion positions of the playoffs and does so once again thanks to its strong defensive system.
For its part, Conquense fought to at least get the tie, but did not succeed in the last meters, notably on a clear shot from Yuya. The squad of The Enchanted City is now in a temperate zone of the ranking. The final minutes were full of emotion, Talavera valiantly resisting his opponent’s heroic attacks.
Joy is back around the blue and white club after a few days where it seemed like the project was falling apart. The Talavera team was very solid in its game against Balompédica in a match in which the best public attendance of the season was recorded. The only thing the Blue and Whites lacked was how to end the battle on some of the rare scoring chances they had. Talavera will have to travel to Illescas the next day, which will be presented with an attractive provincial derby which will be offered by CMM Play.
