The Local Government Council of Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) approved the proposal for award of the home service contract for women and minor children victims of gender violence, for an amount including VAT of 1,401,013.81 euros to the company ATENDE Servicios Integrados SL., with an estimated duration of three years and possibility of extension for an additional two years.
Spokesman Jesús García-Barroso also explained that the start of the cContract for the supply of electrical energy in public establishments and municipal facilities dependent on the Town Hall of Talavera de la Reina and its Local Autonomous Organizations (IPETA and OAL for culture), with an amount as basis for call for tenders including VAT of 3,908,127.66 euros; for a period of two years which can be extended for an additional three years.
The spokesperson indicated that this approval represents “another step in reducing the cost of electricity because there will be a fixed cost per kilowatt during the years of the contract”, and it also has “notorious importance because it This is the first time that an offer has been made under the terms of said contract, and for the economic amount it implies.
In an urgent process, García-Barroso announced the approval of the hiring file of the conservation works and secure the cloister of the commons of the ancient monastery of Santa Catalina in what is known as the House of Canons. After acceptance of the specifications of the specific administrative clauses and specific technical requirements, the opening of the award procedure by the simplified open procedure is established.
In this area, two actions are planned, and this corresponds to the first of them with an amount with VAT of 250,000 euros and a maximum period of six months for its execution by the company that obtains the award.
Renewal of the vehicle fleet
On the other hand, the spokesperson mentioned the approval of the Department of Economy and Finance for the renewal of the equipment of the Local Police, which in this case will be done with two new motorcycles with a cost of 37,999.97 euros.
He added that the idea of the government team is to proceed in stages, “since this cannot be covered in a single budget”, by renewing the vehicles in the automobile fleet, which are those used by General Services, the Technical office, environment, gardens, among others, and that “many of them are between 25 and 40 years old, so it seems of the utmost importance to start renovating them”.
