CF Talavera continues its impeccable progression in the championship: three games played, three victories for the ceramic team. The happiness of the blue and white team is complete on the eve of the San Mateo Fair.
With 1,560 spectators in the Prado Municipal Hall – the official figure – the Talavera team won 1-0 against UD Melilla. The goal came in the 75th minute thanks to a clear penalty committed on Álvaro Sánchez and that the striker himself converted into a goal with a low and crossed shot in the 75th minute.
The Melilla team, one of the big favourites for promotion, were hurt by Corbalán’s expulsion in the 59th minute for a double yellow card.
